By Car
- Highway A3 from directions München or Würzburg: Leave highway at exit Tennenlohe and drive direction north, Erlangen. Then, the next exit: Universität Südgelände, and turn imediately left, direction Erlangen or Südgelände, respectively. After approx. 2 km turn left: Cauerstraße. - Highway A73 from directions Bamberg or Nürnberg: Leave highway A73 at exit Erlangen-Bruck and drive direction Nürnberg. Follow the Paul-Gossen-Straße until you leave Erlangen. Here, take the exit to Südgelände or Gräfenberg, respectively. Turn left, and again left into Cauerstraße. By Bus from Nürnberg
- Take tramway nr. 9 (from direction central station, Rathenauplatz) oder nr. 4 (from direction Plärrer) to terminal stop Thon. There change to bus line nr. 30 or 30E and go until Erlangen/Süd. Take the footway to the right in front of the bridge. After 50 meters you get to the crossing Egerlandstr./Haberstr. Turn right into the Haberstraße and after 100 meters left into the Cauerstraße. By Train
Arrival at Erlangen Central Station. There you can choose between bus or taxi:
- Bus nr. 287 (ca. 20 min): Right in front of the train station leaves bus line number 287. Take this line direction Sebaldussiedlung. Leave the bus at stop Technische Fakultät. - Bus nr. 30/30E/295 (ca. 20min): Take a bus line 30 or 30E direction Nürnberg/Thon or bus line 295 direction Tennenlohe. Leave the bus at stop Erlangen/Süd. Cross the bridge. By Airplane (NUE)
You arrive at Nürnberg airport (code: NUE). There you can choose between bus, rental car or taxi:
- Bus (ca. 60min.): Leave the terminal and take either bus line 32 direction Thon until Thon or underground line U2 direction Röthenbach until Ziegelstein. From Ziegelstein you have to take bus line 22 until Thon. There change to bus line nr. 30 or 30E and go until Erlangen/Süd. Take the footway to the right in front of the bridge. After 50 meters you get to the crossing Egerlandstr./Haberstr. Turn right into the Haberstraße and after 100 meters left into the Cauerstraße. - Rental car (30min): Leave the airport. Follow the signs Erlangen. After crossing the highway A3 at exit Tennenlohe follow the respective instructions as from the first section from dirction München.
